 Announcements: 

1. Groove dance has commenced this week. The students will participate in 3 dance workshops throughout the week at different times, and during different periods. 

2. Grade 8 visit to Dr. G.W. Williams Secondary School is on Wednesday November 1st, 2023. A blue permission form was sent home today. Please return as soon as possible. 

3. Our class has partnered with Ms. Yang's grade 1/2 class for leadership opportunities, which commence this week. The 7/8s will be paired with a grade 1 or 2 student, and throughout the year, they will meet with their buddy on a monthly basis. Leadership opportunities may include reading with their buddy or supporting in subject areas like math or science. 

4. Students went home with their math assessment (number sense quiz) last week. Please ensure the rubric is signed and returned as soon as possible, for documenting purposes.
