- Observed the different properties of rational and irrational numbers 

1. Rational
-- represented as ratio/fraction 
-- Non terminating and repeating decimals (ex. 3.33333)
-- Terminating decimals (ex. 0.56)

2. Irrational: 
-- cannot be represented as a ratio/fraction
-- non terminating decimals (ex. 3.14...)
-- Non repeating decimals (ex. 8.3901203...)
