Math: Angle Properties

- Students wrote their measurement assessment today (area, perimeter, surface area and volume)

Independent Tasks

Those who did not write today will write tomorrow. Continue working through your review package

**You are encouraged to take 15 minutes each evening to review the summary notes and add any missed concepts to your math journals/notebooks

Literacy: Writing and Revision Workshop

- Discussed key themes and messages from last week's documentary 

- Using concepts from the movie to create a piece of writing and apply revision techniques and strategies 

Independent Tasks

- Select a prompt and brainstorm ideas for tomorrow's class (you will be writing!) 

- All tasks were completed in class

Health: Conflict Resolution

- Discussed effective communication and conflict resolution strategies

Independent Tasks

- Read through the article we discussed in class Conflict Resolution for Teens (click for direct access)

Science: Buoyancy

- Students completed a demonstration where they observed the effects of buoyancy using clay, metal pans and water 

- Discussed and defined positive, neutral and negative buoyancy
