Math

- We are learning to use fractions, decimals and percentages

- Students discussed the relationship between each and how they all represent part of a whole

Independent Tasks

Revisiting Percentages Practice Questions (click for direct access) 
Review questions #1- 5
Exercise questions # 4 - 6 

- Continue keeping an eye out for stock updates (check the news/stock trends)

- 10-15 minute review of today's concepts (take/create summary notes)


Literacy

- Summarized their novels through written tasks (predictions after reading and Beginning, Middle and End summary)

Independent Tasks

- Narrative writing Day 1 and Day 2 slides (click for direct access)

- Read required pages of novel (if you didn't complete today in class)

- Reading Comprehension Package: pages 7 and 22

- 10-15 minute review of today's concepts (take/create summary notes)


Art

- Started their dance research project to reinforced different purposes for cultural dances along with their origins

Science

- Students completed their onion lab cell which enabled them to see different organelles under the microscopes at various magnification levels
